Drawing at John's House

This weekend my cousin Danny, my girlfriend Lisa, and I went up to New England to see some family and friends. My cousins John and Annmarie both moved from Greenpoint and live next door to each other up in Connecticut. They both have amazing families and it was so great to see them. Lisa and I also went to see my friend Sue and her boyfriend Nick up in Providence which was also really awesome. While we were at John's house, me, John and Danny had a quick drawing session. I don't know how but John managed to get out of actually posing aside from my really stiff, first warm up drawing (I don't know how this discrepancy was allowed to go down). I think Danny had the right idea by spending some time with his warm up, getting a nice one in with his go-to-old-man-in shadow-sketch. Lisa was put on the spot and forced to pose for us three, which she was nice enough to do. I sat for about 10 minutes twice and Danny once. I'm estimating on the times, but you get the idea. I really wish we had a longer amount of time because I know all three of us would have started turning out really good drawings. We didn't actually get out of the warm up stage. Next time we'll make more time for this sort of thing. It was an amazing weekend and so great to see everyone.

Sean - 'John' - 7-8 minutes? (crappy warm up, stiff, boring angle--i hate posting sketches sometimes)
Danny - 'Go-to-Old-Man-in-Shadow-Sketch' - (not so crappy)
Lucian (John's son, age 4) - Time Unknown - (better than all of us)
Marco (John's son, age 6) - Time Unknown - (Also better than all of us)

awww- looks like fun :) - your killin me on this drawing stuff, way to make me feel guilty :P I like the default old man in shadows sketch lol. and yes, the kids drawings rock!
