Almost done..pic for Lisa

This is a painting I did for my amazing girlfriend Lisa, who had a birthday over the weekend. I wanted to do an underwater scene with this same whale and play around with light breaking through the water's surface in a basic kind of way. I probably have another hour or two of work left on this and it will be finished.

Patrick said...: the last time that i ate goldfish, I swallowed that sucker whole so i wouldn't feel his tail as it was going down(unfortunately i did confirm it was a he).....i absolutely love these characters/worlds that just look amazing.
